ChildNet Youth & Family Services is currently recruiting for the following positions. Unless otherwise noted, these positions are available in our various locations in Long Beach, CA.

 

BEHAVIORAL HEALTH SERVICES

Clinician

  • Position Summary: Will provide comprehensive mental health services, including individual and family therapy, to a caseload of 12 or more clients.
  • Qualifications:  Must have a Master’s degree in a mental health related field, and be a registered intern with BBS.  Must be able to work under pressure and/or crisis situations and must possess strong clinical and paperwork skills.  The Clinician should also possess the ability to adapt to change and be responsible with confidential information.  Bilingual and DMH experience is a plus. Supervision hours available for MFT.

 

FOSTER FAMILY NETWORK

Bakersfield, CA

Social Worker Bilingual/Spanish

  • Position Summary: Responsible for providing case management and support services to foster children, foster parents and natural families of foster children.
  • Qualifications: Must have a related Master’s degree and relevant coursework that meets Title 22 requirements, along with at least one year of experience working with children and families in a social services setting at the Master’s degree level. Bilingual/Spanish required.

Adoptions Social Worker

  • Position Summary: Responsible for the supervision and training of foster parents interested in pursuing adoptions. Will complete adoption home study assessments for families referred to ChildNet by County placing agencies and will communicate with county personnel responsible for the court cases of children in the adoption process.
  • Qualifications: Must have a Master’s degree in Social Work. Bilingual/Spanish and Foster Family Agency/Adoption experience is preferred.
