ChildNet Youth & Family Services is currently recruiting for the following positions. Unless otherwise noted, these positions are available in our various locations in Long Beach, CA.

BEHAVIORAL HEALTH SERVICES

Clinician
Position Summary :
will provide comprehensive mental health services, including individual and family therapy to a caseload of 12 or more clients.
Qualifications: Must have a Master’s degree in a mental health related field, and be a registered intern with BBS. Must be able to work under pressure and/or crisis situations and must possess strong clinical and paperwork skills. The Clinician should also possess the ability to adapt to change and be responsible with confidential information. Bilingual and DMH experience is a plus. Supervision hours available for MFT/LCSW.

Adoptions Program Director
Position Summary :
will conduct adoption home studies, communicate with foster parents about requirements for adoption, complete required adoption paperwork, train foster care staff about adoption requirements, communicate with the foster care recruitment department to coordinate the process of foster care to adoption with our certified homes, communicate with the court and County personnel regarding all aspects of the adoption process for identified adoptable children.
Qualifications: Must possess a Master of Social Work from an accredited institution and at least five years of full-time experience in the field of child welfare, two years of which shall have been spent performing adoptions in either the Department of Social Services or a licensed California adoption agency. (NO EXCEPTIONS) 

VISTA RIDGE ACADEMY

Teacher’s Assistant: Monrovia, CA
Position Summary :
will provide transportation to Vista Ridge Academy students in the company vans and will perform miscellaneous driving assignments. Will also assist teachers with the supervision of the students and will tutor when required.
Qualifications: Previous experience as a Teacher’s Assistant and some college preferred.
