ChildNet Youth & Family Services is currently recruiting for the following positions. Unless otherwise noted, these positions are available in our various locations in Long Beach, CA.

BEHAVIORAL HEALTH SERVICES
Clinician
- Position Summary: will provide comprehensive mental health services, including individual and family therapy to a caseload of 12 or more clients.
- Qualifications: Must have a Master’s degree in a mental health related field, and be a registered intern with BBS. Must be able to work under pressure and/or crisis situations and must possess strong clinical and paperwork skills. The Clinician should also possess the ability to adapt to change and be responsible with confidential information. Bilingual and DMH experience is a plus. Supervision hours available for MFT/LCSW.
Clinical Supervisor
- Position Summary: will be responsible for the hiring, training and supervision of the Clinicians assigned to their team, including ACSW and MFT Interns.
- Qualifications: Must have a Master’s degree in a mental health related field, and possess a Marriage and Family Therapist license OR be a Licensed Clinical Social Worker. Must also have a minimum of 2 years of post license experience AND be eligible to provide Clinical Supervision. A minimum of 3 years of DMH experience required, experience in FFT a plus.
NEW! Multi Dimensional Treatment Foster Care Skills Trainer
- Position Summary: will be responsible for providing services to their assigned caseload within the scope of their practice. These services will focus on assisting clients with skill building as opposed to providing clinical services.
- Qualifications: The Skills Trainer shall possess a Bachelor’s degree OR be enrolled in a Bachelor’s degree program in one of the following disciplines: Social Work or Social Welfare, Marriage & Family Therapy, Child Psychology, Child Development, Counseling Psychology or Social Psychology.
FOSTER FAMILY NETWORK
NEW! Marketing Coordinator
- Position Summary: responsible for marketing ChildNet’s Foster Care and Adoption programs. This position is responsible for raising community awareness of Foster/Adopt “Resource Family” opportunities and increasing the number of dually certified homes. This position will be responsible for expanding upon existing referral sources, developing new referral sources, attending resource fairs and other community functions. Must be able to work independently and have previous experience placing advertisements and speaking in the community. This position is goal-oriented, meaning that for the time and marketing dollars spent, there must be relevant data to track outcome. This position will require participation at events that are not during the typical Monday-Friday work week. Some evenings and weekends will be required.
- Qualifications: must have previous experience in sales and marketing, preferably in a capacity where efforts were tracked and outcomes measured. Must be proficient at public speaking and able to create materials such as handouts, power point presentations, etc. Experience working with volunteers is desirable. Must be able to read, write and speak English. Proficiency in speaking Spanish highly preferred. The Marketing Coordinator is expected to maintain a professional demeanor at all times and represent ChildNet in a positive way.
Social Worker
- Position Summary: responsible for providing support services to foster children, foster parents and natural families of foster children. This position will be required to work out of the Moreno Valley and San Bernadino office, based on the caseload of each location.
- Qualifications: Must have a related Master’s degree and relevant coursework that meets Title 22 requirements along with at least one year of experience working with children and families in a social services setting at the master’s degree level. Bilingual/Spanish preferred.
Moreno Valley/San Bernadino Offices:
Social Worker-FFN Moreno Valley/ San Bernadino office
- Position Summary: responsible for providing support services to foster children, foster parents and natural families of foster children. This position will be required to work out of the Moreno Valley and San Bernadino office, based on the caseload of each location.
- Qualifications: Must have a related Master’s degree and relevant coursework that meets Title 22 requirements along with at least one year of experience working with children and families in a social services setting at the master’s degree level. Bilingual/Spanish preferred.
WRAPAROUND PROGRAM
Parent Partner
- Position Summary: will maintain an active caseload of families. The Parent Partner will be an active participant in the Child and Family Team; working with the family to ensure participation of the family to meet its program goals while serving as an advocate to ensure that the best interests of the family unit are maintained. Additional responsibilities will consist of providing formal and informal supports within the community to assist families as well as being on call 24 hours a day, 7 days a week to ensure that families can access support during times of need. Bilingual/Spanish is preferred.
- Qualifications: The Parent Partner must have one year of experience working with high risk youth. This experience may be in the form of the parent/guardian, adoptive parent, grandparent and/or caregiver (i.e., certified foster parent) of a child who has/had special needs and was/is involved with the Department of Mental Health, Probation and/or Children and Family Services. Bilingual/Spanish is preferred.
