Learn how to adopt below:
The Adoption Program offers Structured Analysis Family Evaluation (SAFE) home studies free of charge to families in cooperation with county placing agencies to facilitate matching adoptive families with waiting children. This home study process allows every ChildNet certified foster family to be considered a resource family, affording them the opportunity to have first choice to adopt a child with whom they have formed a strong bond. If reunification efforts are unsuccessful, they can become a “forever family” for that child. Cooperative post-placement supervision and adoption finalization services are also offered by the program.
Quality certified foster homes are in great need throughout California. ChildNet has local offices to serve foster children and foster families in Los Angeles, Orange, Riverside, San Bernardino and Kern counties.
